Founded in 1998, Berkshire Cosmetic and Reconstructive Surgery Center is the first free-standing ambulatory plastic surgery operating suite in Massachusetts approved by both the American Association for Accreditation of Ambulatory Surgery Facilities and the Health Care Financing Administration.
Berkshire Cosmetic and Reconstructive Surgery Center is dedicated to the delivery of safe, confidential, and high-quality plastic surgical care. The facility is approved for all types of anesthesia and ambulatory surgical procedures. We also offer a wide range of ancillary cosmetic services, including a licensed esthetician and a laser surgery center.
Dr. Basil Michaels is an Ivy League-trained, board-certified plastic surgeon. He is also an Assistant Professor of Clinical Surgery at the University of Massachusetts. In addition to busy clinical practices and research, he teaches surgical residents and medical students.
Dr. Michaels is the president of the Berkshire District of the Massachusetts Medical Society and is active at the state and national plastic surgery societies.
